November 11, 2011- went to the agency to get things going but they were closed for veterans day.
November 15, 2011- got our application to apply at the agency.
November 16, 2011- turned in the application and chatted with Audrey about their new Uganda Program.
December 3, 2011- info class at the agency explaining the entire international adoption process.
December 5, 2011- paid first amount of money to agency ($50.00) which ensures our spot in Adoption Class #1.
December 12, 2011- attend Adoption Class #1
December 13, 2011- attend Adoption Panel
December 16, 2011- intake interview (this is the BIG day of getting all the paperwork we need to fill out)
December 17, 2011- start to work our butts off doing paperwork! I wonder how long it will take us until we've finished it!
January 21, 2012- attend Adoption Class #2
February 2, 2012- finished with paperwork!
February 3&4, 2012- Yard sale for adoption! God provided $6400.00 within 2 days!
February 6, 2012- Turned in last bit of paperwork for home study.
February 18, 2012- attend Adoption Class #3
March 5, 2012- Met with our social worker Karen for the first time. Also had our individual interviews at this time.
March 15, 2012- Home visit.
April 2012- finished with U.S. Immigration paperwork. Just waiting to send it off!
May 25 & 26, 2012- 2nd Yard sale for adoption! God provided $4300.00!
January 2013- decided to not only continue pursuing Ugandan adoption but to also start pursuing adoption via foster care system.
April 4, 2013- Home inspection for fosadopt.
April 8, 2013- signed our last bit of paperwork for fosadopt.
April 9, 2013- Child search begins for fosadopt!
